Be Ready for Spring Break
3/8/2021 (Permalink)
Spring break in Kentucky is rarely dry. If you are going to venture out you have to make sure you have a backup plan depending on how much rain we are getting in. Don’t forget to also make a plan on how to keep your home and property safe while you are away.
Follow these easy steps to help you have peace of mind and a real break over Spring Break.
-Keep valuables away from windows
-Set up times lights around your house
-Have a neighbor watch your house
-Turn your home phone ringer off
-Don’t announce your upcoming vacation on social media
It’s important to have someone watch and check your home not just for the potential break-in and robberies but in the instance of a pipe break or a leak. We often get calls from people who have just returned home from a trip to find their home flooded and a disaster. We highly suggest having someone check in on your home and know who to call for various emergencies.
